How we verify
Alert Lethbridge publishes phone numbers and service details that people rely on in a bad moment. So we hold ourselves to one rule: nothing gets published unless we read it on an official page, and we record the date we read it. A general-purpose AI chatbot can only tell you what it remembers. This page shows you our receipts.

The three rules
- Never invent. If we can't find a number on the organisation's own page or an official government page, we don't print it. A plausible-looking wrong crisis number is worse than no number.
- Always source. Every entry below names the exact page it was read from, so you can check it yourself.
- Always date-stamp. Services change. Knowing a number was confirmed on a specific date tells you how much to trust it — and tells us when to look again.
What we're honest about
The list below includes what we could not confirm. Those items are deliberately missing from the site rather than filled in from memory. Some are real services whose details simply aren't published anywhere; some are numbers we inherited and now doubt. Showing them is the point — it's how you can tell the verified entries mean something.
The ledger
Generated directly from the data that powers the site — this page can't drift out of sync with what we actually publish.

A number that's changed, a program that's closed, a service we've missed — tell us and we'll re-check the source. Send feedback. For how the YQL assistant itself works, see AI transparency.
Live services (weather alerts, power outages, ER wait times, transit) follow a separate freshness standard: if the feed is stale past its service-level window, we hide the number and link out to the source rather than show you something old.
